Skopje, 19 June 2025 (MIA) - The public call for procurement of 120 eco-buses, 80 of which for the City of Skopje, has been released, says Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski.

Minister Nikoloski told Kanal 5 that the remaining 40 buses will be distributed in accordance with the real needs of local self-government units.

He says the eco-buses are one of the three key aspects that Skopje needs in order to reduce air pollution, a city train and a tram being the other two.

The Government passed the decision on procurement of the eco-buses at a session in April.
