Skopje, 9 February 2023 (MIA) - The first rescue team including 40 people from the Protection and Rescue Directorate arrived in Adıyaman, Turkey, late Wednesday joining search-and-rescue efforts on the ground.

According to the Protection and Rescue Directorate, needs on the ground are also being assessed, in preparation for the second team's arrival.

"Team participants quickly split off into smaller teams, heading to cover different rubble search locations in Adıyaman," reads the press release. dk/nn/
