Skopje, 27 January 2026 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski extended Tuesday his greetings to the Serbian community on occasion of St. Sava’s Day.

“With deep respect and sincere greetings, I would like to congratulate the Serbian people on the great spiritual and national holiday of St. Sava, a symbol of enlightenment, wisdom, spirituality, and statehood,” Mickoski wrote in a post on his official Facebook page.

Mickoski added that the legacy of St. Sava represents a basis upon which the values of education, faith, culture, and community were built, which, he said, even today remain a powerful inspiration for the creation of a just, humane, and progressive society.

“May the messages of this great saint contribute to mutual respect, dialogue, peace, and stability, as well as further promotion of the friendly relations and cooperation between nations and states,” the Prime Minister wrote.
