Skopje, 9 April 2024 (MIA) - Political developments in the country and the region, the presidential and parliamentary elections, and North Macedonia's European future were in the focus of Tuesday's meeting of presidential candidate Arben Taravari and Worth It coalition leaders Izet Mexhiti (Democratic Movement), Afrim Gashi (Alternativa) and Blerim Sejdiu (Besa vice-president) with Slovenia's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Anžej Frangeš.

Party leaders assured the Special Envoy that the coalition will dedicate its policies to urgent implementation of the constitutional changes once it wins the parliamentary elections and joins the next government, followed by successful completion of the EU accession negotiations and increasing the cohesion with European countries in key sectors such as rule of law, infrastructure and societal development in general, the Worth It coalition said in a press release.

They also thanked Frangeš for Slovenia's vital role in enhancement of the Euro-Atlantic integration of North Macedonia and the Western Balkans, maintenance of security and acceleration of economic development.
