Gostivar, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - “Worth It” coalition’s presidential candidate Arben Taravari cast his ballot in the first round of the presidential elections at a polling station in Gostivar on Wednesday.
“It is an honor and a pleasure for me to vote with my family, which is our civil duty. The fact that our youngest son is voting for the first time this year is a special pleasure as well. My message to all would be for these elections to be fair and democratic, and for the best candidate to win. We will accept any result. The atmosphere is good, there is enthusiasm, and I can see that the citizens are showing up to vote in large numbers, which is a good sign for the opposition,” Taravari said.
Asked about the electoral process and reports about obstructions, Taravari said such reports exist and are being processed by his campaign HQ.
“I don’t think now is the time to talk about these irregularities. We are used to pressure, buying votes – of which there are already video recordings. However, our HQ will publish information about this and all relevant institutions and international representatives in the country have already been notified,” the presidential candidate said.
