Skopje, 21 July 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova held a meeting Monday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, who is on an official visit to the country.

According to the President’s Office, Morocco, as one of the leading countries in the MENA region, acts as a political and economic bridge between Europe and North Africa, playing a key role in regional stability and prosperity, as well as in ensuring international peace and security.

Minister Bourita, on his first official visit to the country, recognizes the beginning of a new era in building mutual relations. Siljanovska-Davkova emphasized the importance of cooperation within international organizations, especially within the UN, the International Organization of La Francophonie, and the Union for the Mediterranean. The governments’ bilateral agreement on cultural cooperation, signed last December, aims to strengthen mutual understanding and respect, according to the press release.

The Moroccan Minister expressed readiness for strategic cooperation in the field of energy and, on behalf of the King of Morocco, extended an invitation to Siljanovska-Davkova to visit the Kingdom of Morocco.
