President Siljanovska-Davkova extends Saint Sava Day greetings to Serbian community

Skopje, 27 January 2026 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova extended Tuesday greetings to the members of the Serbian community on occasion of Saint Sava Day, the National Day of Serbs in the country, stressing that Saint Sava’s message of unity and love is important than ever for walking together on the path of progress and friendship.
In the message, she wished them good health, peace and tranquility along with joy and harmony in their homes. Siljanovska-Davkova noted that Saint Sava’s legacy as an educator and peacemaker serves as an enduring guide for fostering spirituality and building unity founded on mutual respect and understanding.
Siljanovska-Davkova emphasized that the Serbian community, with its rich cultural identity and traditions, constitutes an integral part of the Macedonian multicultural society, and that its contribution in all areas of social life makes the state richer and more prosperous.
She stressed that at a time of many challenges, the message of Saint Sava on unity and love is more important than ever, and called for walking together along the path of progress and friendship.
