President Siljanovska-Davkova attends SEECP Summit in Tirana

Tirana, 16 June 2025 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova begins a working visit to Tirana on Monday, to attend the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).
As reported by MIA’s special correspondent from Tirana, she will speak at the plenary session titled “Promoting Stability and Prosperity through Regional Cooperation and EU Integration,” and join a joint press conference alongside Albanian President Bajram Begaj and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, representing the outgoing, current, and incoming SEECP chairs.
The Summit is hosted by Albanian President Bajram Begaj. Participants expected include Macedonian President Siljanovska-Davkova, Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović, Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut, and Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi.
Foreign ministers attending the Summit include Turkey’s Hakan Fidan, Greece’s Giorgos Gerapetritis, Romania’s Emilian Horatiu Hurezeanu, Croatia’s State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Franjo Matušić, Regional Cooperation Council Secretary General Amer Kapetanović and Head of EU Delegation in Tirana Silvio Gonzato.
As part of the working visit to Albania, Siljanovska-Davkova will hold meetings in Tirana with representatives of the Macedonian national minority in Albania, the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration, the Macedonian Association “Ilinden” in Tirana as well as Macedonian diplomats and professors.
