Skopje, 26 June 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Wednesday with UNDP Resident Representative Armen Grigoryan and expressed satisfaction from the long-standing partnership with the organization that has significantly contributed to the country's general development through its cooperation with state institutions, municipalities and civil society.
Siljanovska Davkova said she highly values UNDP's engagement and initiatives in various fields, such as economic development, social inclusion, gender equality, institutional strengthening, environment protection, climate change mitigation and youth engagement in decision-making and policy creation, the President's Office said in a press release.
Interlocutors agreed that UNDP's priority activities in the country up to 2025 have been aligned with the Macedonian national priorities, based on the principles of sustainable development and fully compatible with the EU accession process.
