President Siljanovska Davkova meets Polish Ambassador Grzelczyk
- President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova held Tuesday a meeting with Polish Ambassador Krzysztof Grzelczyk to share views on topical political developments in the two countries, ongoing challenges and ways to use the potentials to enhance bilateral cooperation, her office said.
Skopje, 18 June 2024 (MIA) – President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova held Tuesday a meeting with Polish Ambassador Krzysztof Grzelczyk to share views on topical political developments in the two countries, ongoing challenges and ways to use the potentials to enhance bilateral cooperation, her office said.
It was concluded, it added, that relations between the two countries are exceptionally high in the year that marks the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations. Also, the continued political dialogue was welcomed as well as cooperation in the international institutions and NATO partnership.
Thanking Poland for its support for the Macedonian strategic goals, President Siljanovska Davkova expressed readiness to continue the cooperation at the EU integration plan in meeting the reform agenda.
“In that respect, the President underlined the importance of the country’s uninterrupted EU accession process and expressed expectations that the Polish activism and support bilaterally, as friends of the EU enlargement group and through the Visegrad Group will resume in the future as well,” said the press release.
The interlocutors expressed readiness to boost educational cooperation and welcomed the steps made as to expand economic cooperation, trade and cooperation in energy, the IT and agricultural sector.
