Skopje, 17 September 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Tuesday with Greek Ambassador Sophia Philippidou, discussing overall bilateral relations, potentials and opportunities for strengthening cooperation with the aim of building goodneighborly relations based on mutual trust and understanding.

President Sijanovska Davkova expects Greece to support the enlargement policy and the country's European aspirations, the President's Office said in a press release.

Interlocutors exchanged opinions on the Prespa Agreement and its implementation, with the President noting the importance of its consistent implementation by all stakeholders.

President Siljanovska Davkova reaffirmed the commitment to further enhance the partnership and sincere friendship with Greece. She stressed the excellent cooperation in the field of defense and importance of strengthening economic cooperation, trade exchange, infrastructure connectivity; as well as cooperation in the field of education, culture, tourism, and challenges that should be jointly addressed in the interest of the well-being and bonding the people in both countries, reads the press release.
