President Siljanovska Davkova meets Czech Ambassador Ludva

Skopje, 1 July 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova met Monday with Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Ludva, discussing overall bilateral relations between the two countries, which this year mark 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, the President's Office said in a press release.

Interlocutors highlighted commitment to further developing and strengthening partnership, which is expressed through intense political dialogue and economic cooperation.

President Siljanovska Davkova stressed the importance of the Czech Republic's strong support for the European aspirations of the country and the region, both on a bilateral level and within the frameworks of EU institutions and the Visegrád Group.

Talks also focused on the course of the reform process, with President Siljanovska Davkova pointing to the formation of the Ministry of European Affairs as an important step demonstrating the country's commitment to the European agenda.

Siljanovska Davkova and Ludva also exchanged views on the ongoing developments in the wider region. ssh/nn/
