President Siljanovska Davkova extends greetings to faithful celebrating Christmas according to Gregorian calendar

Skopje, 24 December 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova extended Tuesday greetings to Skopje Bishop and Strumica-Skopje Eparch, Monsignor Kiro Stojanov, and all those celebrating Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

"To all believers who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar, it gives me pleasure to commemorate the day of Christ's birth - Christmas. I sincerely hope that the brightest day brings peace, love, and joy to your hearts and renews faith and hope for a more humane future. Christmas is a symbol of rebirth, a new and better life. It reminds us of unconditional love, giving and community for spiritual strength and peace of mind," President Siljanovska Davkova says in the note.

While enjoying the holidays in the warmth of our homes and in the circle of our closest ones, she adds, let's not to forget about our shared home - the motherland and let's protect and respect its dignity so that we ourselves can be dignified and respected. ssh/ik/
