President Siljanovska Davkova congratulates International Day of Bosniaks

Skopje, 28 September 2024 (MIA) - We are proud that the Bosniak community has its own holiday, which is celebrated with dignity and contributes to the promotion of its history and cultural traditions that are an integral part of Macedonian society, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova said in her message to the Bosniak community on the occasion of September 28, International Day of Bosniaks.

The coexistence in our homeland, the President noted, is a result of respect, appreciation, and solidarity. Let us not allow these values to be threatened and undermined, and let us continue to work towards the progress and well-being of our shared homeland.

“The challenges we face as a country affect us all, regardless of gender, religion, or ethnicity. We are all under the same sky. United, let us realize the vision for our homeland as a democratic, lawful, and developed state. Happy holiday to all,” the message states.
