Skopje, 13 June 2023 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Tuesday with Ivana Živković, Assistant Secretary-General, and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP),

At the meeting, according to the President’s Office, Pendarovski and Živković welcomed the continued and constructive cooperation between North Macedonia and the UNDP, and spoke about the support and role of the United Nations in the implementation of the country’s strategic goals.

“To that end, the UNDP’s activities on climate change and the green agenda were welcomed, as well as their engagement in areas related to social development and gender equality, democratic governance and improvement of local governance. Additionally, the excellent cooperation in the drafting of the Development Framework MKD2030 was also highlighted at the meeting,” said the President’s Office in a press release.
