Skopje, 14 October 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met with representatives of the Macedonian Union in Sweden during his visit to Gothenburg on Thursday. Macedonian emigrants briefed the President on their activities to preserve and promote Macedonian culture, language and tradition, their integration in the Swedish society and the clubs’ development. President Pendarovski expressed support for further activities of the association, noting their engagement is a positive example that contributes to the enhancement of cooperation between North Macedonia and Sweden, his Office said in a press release. The Macedonian Union in Sweden is the largest association of Macedonian emigrants in Scandinavia, comprised of 11 clubs.
