President Pendarovski meets Kazakhstan’s Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi
Skopje, 1 November 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met Tuesday with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tleuberdi, who is paying an official visit to North Macedonia.
Interlocutors agreed that the two countries are building friendly relations in the spirit of mutual understanding, highlighting opportunities to promote them in several areas of mutual interest. In that respect, Pendarovski welcomed the decision to open an Embassy of Kazakhstan in Skopje, the President’s office said in a press release.
Participants in the meeting expressed satisfaction with the economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as with the holding of the first meeting of the intergovernmental committee on trade and economy in Skopje, which is of great significance in increasing trade and investments.
Talks also tackled the war in Ukraine, with interlocutors exchanging views and information on the positions of the two countries in terms of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
In addition, Pendarovski and Tleuberdi discussed about possibilities to establish bilateral cooperation in other areas, highlighting good cooperation on multilateral level, reads the press release.
