Skopje, 5 April 2023 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met with the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, who is paying an official visit to North Macedonia on Wednesday.

During the meeting they shared views about the current situation in Europe, whereat President Pendarovski briefed the Croatian Prime Minister about the developments regarding North Macedonia’s European integration and expressed his satisfaction with the screening process so far.

“In this regard, Pendarovski underscored the excellent cooperation between the Macedonian and Croatian institutions which significantly contributes to the use of the Croatian experience in the process of preparations for the EU accession negotiations,” Pendarovski’s Office said in a press release.

Pendarovski thanked Plenković for Croatia’s overall support to North Macedonia’s aspirations to EU membership.
