Skopje, 24 August 2021 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski on Tuesday attended the central event celebrating the 30-year anniversary of Ukraine’s independence at the Independence Square in Kiev. The event featured a ceremony of raising the Ukrainian flag and handing out recognitions, as well as a holiday parade of Ukraine’s armed forced. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, gave a speech, the President’s office said in a press release. President Pendarovski also attended a reception at Mariyinsky Palace, hosted by President Zelensky. The 30-year anniversary of the independence of Ukraine is held under the slogan “You are my one and only”, attended by over 40 delegations from countries and international organizations with hundreds of foreign guests, including heads of state, representatives of foreign governments and parliaments, as per the announcement. dk/ba/
