Polish President Duda welcomes President Pendarovski with state and military honors
Skopje, 24 October 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski was welcomed on Monday in Warsaw with the highest state and military honors by President Andrzej Duda, starting his official two-day visit to Poland.
Pendarovski and Duda held a tête-à-tête meeting, reaffirming sincere friendly relations and fruitful dialogue between the two countries, the President’s office said in a press release.
“Talks focused on the Macedonian European integration, NATO partnership, the war in Ukraine and its consequences, as well as the global economic and energy crisis,” reads the press release.
As part of the official visit, President Duda will award President Pendarovski with the highest Polish decoration, the Order of the White Eagle, while President Pendarovski will award President Duda with the “September 8” decoration, as a symbol of the partnership and friendship between the two countries.
Pendarovski will also hold a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, and together with President Duda he will attend and address a round table with representatives of Polish chambers and businesses, as well as Macedonian representatives from the business sector, an event organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the office of the Polish President, Pendarovski’s office said in a press release.
