Skopje, 8 November 2022 (MIA) – Police officers detained a person for migrant smuggling at the Demir Kapija-Negotino regional road early on Tuesday. The police found 21 migrants from Syria in a cargo vehicle driven by a 41-year-old Veles citizen, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release. The migrants have been transferred to the reception-transit center in Gevgelija, whereas the detainee will be charged accordingly.
