Skopje, 1 September 2023 (MIA) - Upon instructions of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Skopje and a court order, the Ministry of Interior is undertaking activities as part of a pre-trial investigation to provide evidence that will be subject to analysis and expert examination so as to investigate possible circumstances of a criminal act, the Prosecutor's Office said in connection with the police operation underway at the Oncology Clinic of the "Mother Teresa" clinical center in Skopje.

Earlier, the Ministry of Interior confirmed the information to MIA, and said more information will be shared in coordination with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office after the operation is completed. 

Some of the media outlets said the operation follows after media reports that employees of the clinic illegally resell drugs to patients.
