Skopje, 9 October 2024 (MIA) - The police has found 12 migrants and detained a 27-year-old person from Gevgelija who drove the vehicle used for the smuggling.

The police found the migrants (two from Syria and ten from Iraq) in a vehicle on the Stojakovo-Bogdanci road near Gevgelija.

The migrants have been transffered to the Gevgelija-based reception-transit center. Investigation in the case is underway.
