PM Zaev welcomes Kosovo counterpart Kurti
Skopje, 16 September 2021 (MIA) – Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on Thursday welcomed with high state and military honors Kosovo counterpart Albin Kurti, who is leading a delegation to Skopje for a joint session with North Macedonia’s government.
After the welcoming ceremony, the government said in a press release, Zaev and Kurti held a tête-à-tête meeting, while ministers met ahead of the joint session for bilateral talks.
Agreements in the field of infrastructure, set to facilitate and promote economic cooperation and communication, as well as memorandums and programs for collaboration on cross-border projects backed by EU’s IPA programs, partnership in the sectors of energy, tourism, culture, innovation and technological development, will be signed at the joint session.
The joint session, the press release read, confirms excellent friendly relations between North Macedonia and Kosovo, set to enhance bilateral interests for more intensive regional cooperation.
At the end the working portion of the visit, Prime Ministers Zoran Zaev and Albin Kurti will hold a joint press conference.
