PM: Together for prosperous Balkans, Macedonian wines, food and music worth experiencing
Skopje, 2 September 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski addressed late Friday the Macedonian evening within the ‘Wine Vision by Open Balkan’ fair in Belgrade, saying the initiative is autochtonous and original.
“This initiative comes from us. I respect all initiatives, the Berlin Process and many others, but these are initiatives coming from the outside. When I look around the number of guests and the fact that we always have to cut people from the list of attendees, this is because people want to go to Open Balkan meetings, because they consider them their own,” said PM Kovachevski.
He recalled on the words of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who said this is the best fair of wine, food and tourism in Europe.
“The slogan of this fair is ‘Taste Life’. That is why I call on you to taste Macedonian wines, Macedonian food, Macedonian music. Eventually, you will come to Macedonia for a beautiful adventure. I wish you a beautiful evening and thank you for coming,” said Kovachevski in his remarks.
