Skopje, 24 February 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told a press conference Monday he trusts First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Izet Mexhiti, and urged the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) to submit any proof they possess about illegal actions taken by Mexhiti.

At the press conference, Mickoski was asked to respond to a press release by opposition party DUI in which they urged investigations into Izet Mexhiti and his Chief of Staff due to alleged corrupt activities.  

“If anyone possesses any evidence to support DUI’s allegations I urge them, they all have my number, to visit me today, tomorrow, so I can see the evidence and then submit it to the institutions that need to act. Otherwise, I have to warn those in DUI that they are continuing to sow lies, lies burdened with the word corruption because that was their middle name in the past,” Mickoski said, adding he has full trust in the Deputy PM.
