Skopje, 24 October 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski welcomed Thursday the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who is paying an official visit to the country as part of her Western Balkans tour.

Mickoski and von der Leyen will hold a tete-a-tete meeting followed by a meeting between the two delegations.

The PM and the EC President will afterwards hold a press conference in the Government's media center.

During the visit, EC's von der Leyen is also scheduled to meet with President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.

In the framework of the four-day Western Balkans tour, von der Leyen is meeting with leaders of Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Montenegro, discussing the Growth Plan for the region and the countries' progress on the European path.
