PM Mickoski to officially open Kumanovo – Beljakovce railway line

Skopje, 17 January 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will attend Friday the opening ceremony for the Kumanovo – Beljakovce railway line, marking the completion of this section of Corridor 8 (eastern part).
The Kumanovo – Beljakovce railway line spans a length of 30.8 kilometers and features three newly constructed railway stations (Novo Kumanovo, the reconstructed existing Kumanovo station), six stops, five bridges, one tunnel, slope protections, drainage systems, access roads, noise barriers, and signaling and telecommunications infrastructure worth €10 million.
According to the government press service, journalists will have the opportunity to join Prime Minister Mickoski and Minister of Transport Nikoloski in a locomotive ride along the newly constructed railway line.
