Skopje, 28 February 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Friday with Turkish President Reccep Tayyip Erdoğan, reaffirming the mutual commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

"In this regard, a joint political declaration will be signed on the establishment of a High-Level Cooperation Council between the Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey", PM Mickoski wrote in a Facebook post.

He says the Council will serve as an important facility to deepen and intensify cooperation in all fields of mutual interest, bilaterally, regionally and globally.

"I am convinced this initiative will contribute to new opportunities and even stronger ties between our nations," says Mickoski.
