PM Kovachevski to meet UN Secretary-General Guterres
Skopje, 22 September 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will meet on Thursday with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as part of his visit to New York.
The agenda also includes a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs Jessica Lewis.
In addition, PM Kovachevski will attend on Thursday a reception hosted by New York City Mayor Eric Adams, the Government said in a press release.
As part of his visit to New York, over the past days Kovachevski addressed the Transforming Education Summit, delivered remarks at the high-level meeting of the 77th session of the General Assembly to mark the commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Rights of Persons Belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities, and delivered a lecture at the Columbia University.
