PM Kovachevski to attend second Wine Vision by Open Balkan fair in Belgrade
- Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will attend the second consecutive wine, food, and tourism fair Wine Vision by Open Balkan in Belgrade. Kovachevski, accompanied by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Ljupcho Nikolovski, and Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski, who also address the fair.
Belgrade, 16 November 2023 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will attend the second consecutive wine, food, and tourism fair Wine Vision by Open Balkan in Belgrade. Kovachevski, accompanied by Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Ljupcho Nikolovski, and Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski, who also address the fair.
This year's fair will gather more than 600 exhibitors from numerous wineries, distilleries, and food and beverage companies, from over 28 countries, which is a great opportunity to establishing business ties and exchange ideas.
Half of the exhibitors are from the member countries of the Open Balkans. In addition to 74 from North Macedonia, there will be 260 exhibitors from Serbia and 21 from Albania.
The first day of the fair will be of closed character, dedicated to professional buyers and visitors. It will be attended by presidents, prime ministers and government officials from the countries of the Open Balkans as well as other countries, who will be welcomed by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
During the Belgrade visit, Prime Minister Kovachevski is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, on Friday.
Macedonian Ministry of Transport and Communication and Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure are to sign a memorandum of cooperation for the construction of a high-speed railway network.
In addition, a 'Macedonian night' will be held under the auspices of the Government of North Macedonia and PM Kovachevski for tasting Macedonian wine and food.
Last year's first edition of the Open Vision by Open Balkan fair had 400 wine manufacturers and food from over 22 countries, and 42 wineries from North Macedonia, including a 'Macedonian night' that was attended by numerous leaders from the region and businessmen.
The fair is held under the auspices of the Governments of the Republic of Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania. ssh/sk/
