PM expects successful economic year, GDP growth between 3.5-4 percent
- Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expects 2025 to be more successful than last year, with a GDP growth between 3.5-4 percent, investments of over EUR 1 billion and a budget deficit under 4 percent.
Skopje, 1 January 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expects 2025 to be more successful than last year, with a GDP growth between 3.5-4 percent, investments of over EUR 1 billion and a budget deficit under 4 percent.
PM Mickoski told reporters that 2024 ended with better economic results than expected.
"We expect positive parameters on the GDP growth in the fourth quarter and an annual increase between 2.6-3 percent," said Mickoski.
The PM expects foreign direct investments to exceed EUR 1 billion in 2024 and to be even higher in 2024.
"We expect the budget deficit to be under 4 percent in 2025. We expect to be among the top five or six fastest-growing economies", said Mickoski.
