Skopje, 30 September 2024 (MIA) - The Public Health Institute (PHI) said on Monday that 45 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths were recorded between September 23-29.

Cases were recorded in ten cities, most of which in Skopje, whereas Demir Hisar saw the highest incidence. The predominant age group was over 60.

Two persons from Demir Hisar and Ohrid, aged over 65, passed away. The persons were vaccinated with two and three Covid-19 doses respectively, more than three years ago and had underlying illnesses.

A total of 1,669 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the course of 2024, with 23 deaths reported until now.
