Skopje, 7 February 2022 (MIA) – Defense Minister Slavjanka Petrovska met Monday with German Ambassador Anke Holstein, discussing bilateral defense cooperation and geopolitical challenges on the European continent. Minister Petrovska and Ambassador Holstein reaffirmed that the positions of the two countries – NATO allies – on the Ukraine issue are the same, with a peaceful and diplomatic solution seen as a priority, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release. Petrovska and Holstein agreed that bilateral cooperation is excellent and should further develop. The cooperation is based on an agreement signed back in 1996, with countries collaborating in the fields of defense policy, logistics, military medicine, NBC activities, education and training.
