Skopje, 4 August 2023 (MIA) - Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska expressed heartfelt solidarity with Slovenia after heavy rains and flash floods hit the country on Friday.

"North Macedonia stands with Slovenia during these challenging times. We are ready to assist in any way we can in dealing with the consequences of the torrential rains," Petrovska posted on social networks. 

She pointed out that the situation in Slovenia is followed with great regret, reiterating that North Macedonia stands ready to give support and provide assistance.

"We are stronger together," Petrovska stressed.
