Skopje, 8 June 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Defence Slavjanka Petrovska and Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Vasko Gjurchinovski visited the Vermont National Guard's Ethan Allen Firing Range, hosted by Vermont National Guard Adjutant General Gregory Knight.

Minister Petrovska and Lieutenant-General Gjurchinovski had the opportunity to follow the joint exercise Northern Fallout of the Macedonian soldiers from the Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense platoon and the Vermont National Guard, which represents another proof of the strong partnership and cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, the Ministry of Defense said in a press release.

Petrovska and Gjurchinovski will also visit the Vermont Air National Guard base and meet with Colonel Daniel Finnegan. The visit will conclude with flights by Vermont Air National Guard's F-35 fighter jets.

Petrovska will also visit the Vermont State Emergency Operations Center where she will meet with director Erica Bornemann, reads the press release.
