Petkov: We have to fulfill most of the tasks
Skopje, 20 January 2022 (BTA/MIA) – We have to fulfill most of the tasks that have not been completed, Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said ahead of Thursday’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, commenting on the relations between Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia. Petkov, BTA reports, has confirmed that Bulgaria and North Macedonia will hold a joint government session in Sofia on Tuesday, Jan. 25. “We have an opportunity to do something that has not been done for the past 30 years. We won’t waste a minute more in turning these attitudes into real results,” said Petkov. As an important topic, Petkov reiterated the transport connection between the two countries, citing the need for a fast railway connection between Sofia and Skopje, as well as a direct airline between the two capitals. “We’ll make a real plan with real achievements for the next six months,” Petkov added.
