Skopje, 14 October 2024 (MIA) — A man was taken to a Skopje hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, law enforcement authorities said in a press release.

According to the Ministry of Interior release, E.A. (35) was brought to St. Naum of Ohrid General Hospital around 6:10 pm after he sustained a gunshot wound while walking on the street. He was taken to hospital by his brother.

The brother said E.A. had been walking down Hristijan Todorovski Karposh Street when a person approached him and shot him in the leg, most likely because of unpaid debt.

The police are investigating the case, the release said. mr/
