People entering or exiting N. Macedonia to be required to present negative PCR test or vaccination certificate
Skopje, 16 August 2021 (MIA) - Health Minister Venko Filipche said Monday that at the morning meeting with the Commission for Infectious Diseases, an additional measure was discussed, namely all citizens coming in and going out of the country will be required to provide a vaccine certificate, a negative PCR test or proof that they’ve had COVID-19. The government will discuss this measure in more detail at a session on Tuesday. “We will talk about the measure and the timing of its implementation, given that many people are currently outside of the country,” Filipche stated. Answering a journalist’s question about people returning from Afghanistan, Filipche said that a 14-day mandatory quarantine was discussed, which will be proposed to the government, and vaccination recommendations will be discussed as well. dk/ba/
