Skopje, 23 January 2023 (MIA) – Isolate politically the people who don’t want good neighborly relations, we are doing so and will continue to do so in our country. Macedonia is not your enemy, however, this country has laws, it has dignity and when those lines are crossed, we will always react to protect ourselves, President Stevo Pendarovski urged competent institutions in Bulgaria after Monday's session of the National Security Council.  

He pointed out that every serious country in the world is doing so, including Bulgaria.  

“I propose far better coordination between the competent institutions of the two countries in the coming period, in order not to allow the European agenda and bilateral relations to become victim of anachronistic nationalist and populist policies on both sides,” the President stressed.
