Skopje, 16 June 2022 (MIA) – President Stevo Pendarovski met with Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor as part of the Prespa Forum Dialogue in Ohrid on Thursday. Talks reaffirmed excellent bilateral relations that have no open issues and are based on friendship, which this year saw a celebration on the occasion of of the 30^th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. “Pendarovski welcomed the formation of the new Slovenian Government, stressing his belief that the strong strategic alliance, partnership and long-standing constructive cooperation between the two countries will continue. He thanked for the consistent Slovenian support at a bilateral, regional and multilateral level, and particularly vocal during Slovenia’s EU Presidency. Prioritizing the issue of the region’s European integration is constantly high on the Slovenian foreign policy agenda,” the President's office said.
