Skopje, 20 October 2022 (MIA) – Lawmakers unanimously passed Thursday the amendments to the Law on Building related to the specific procedure to set up photovoltaic power plants at buildings for own consumption. According to the amendments, the surplus electricity produced by these systems is transferred to the power distribution grid. The amendments also eliminate the provision according to which the municipality issues the decision for the installation of the photovoltaic systems.
