Over 500 new COVID-19 cases registered in past three days
Skopje, 11 July 2022 (MIA) - North Macedonia has registered 524 new COVID-19 infections after a total of 1,869 tests were conducted over the past three days, on July 8-10. Of those, 29 are registered as reinfections.
Also, no deaths were registered in the same time period. Four fatalities are reported over the weekend from the period from June 28 to July 7, the Health Ministry said Monday.
Of the new cases in the past three days, Skopje registered the most - 314, followed by Bitola, 35, Tetovo, 23, Kumanovo, 20, and Veles, 16.
A total of 463 recovered patients were registered from July 8 to July 10, said the press release.
Of the four fatalities, registered in the electronic Covid-related deaths registry from June 28 to July 7, two were in Skopje, aged 67 and 83, and the other two in Ohrid, 80, and Tetovo, 69.
At the moment, 1,645 cases are active nationwide.
Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,090,703 tests, recording 316,219 COVID-19 cases and 305,239 recoveries. The death toll has reached 9,335.
