Skopje, 2 August 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia on Monday registers 54 new COVID-19 infections and one death, says the Health Ministry. The new cases were registered after a total of 3,087 tests were carried out. Of the 54 cases, 32 were registered in Tetovo and 13 in Skopje. “A 77-year old person died in a hospital in Tetovo,” says the Ministry. Also, 28 people were registered as having recovered from the virus. At the moment, 613 cases are active nationwide, of which 184 in Skopje. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 985,556 tests, recording 156,506 COVID-19 cases and 150,399 recoveries. The death toll has reached 5,494.
