Over 2,700 flu cases recorded nationwide, down by 5.3 percent compared to previous week
Skopje, 20 February 2025 (MIA) – A total of 2,726 flu cases were recorded from February 10 until February 16, down 5.3 percent compared to the previous week. Skopje records the highest number of flu cases – 616.
Public Health Institute Director Marija Andonova called on people to follow health authorities’ recommendations, including avoiding large gatherings and letting fresh air into indoor spaces.
No flu fatality was recorded this week, she told reporters.
A total of 14,340 flu cases have been reported this 2024/2025 season.
