Over 100 people died of Covid complications last week, 79 were unvaccinated
Skopje, 19 October 2021 (MIA) – The Ministry of Health has announced that it will release weekly reports on Covid fatalities who were fully vaccinated, their chronic illnesses, and the type of vaccine they received. People who have received two doses, with more than 14 days having passed since their second shot, are considered fully vaccinated. 105 people died of Covid-related complications between October 8 and October 14. Of those, over 75% were unvaccinated. Of those, only 26 people were vaccinated. Only one person was 80 years old and they had no chronic illnesses. Out of the 26 people who were vaccinated, one had received Pfizer vaccines, 3 had received Astra Zeneca, 4 had received Sinovac and 17 had received Sinopharm. 16 deaths were recorded on October 8. Five were vaccinated, three were aged 84, 62 and 78 and had heart disease. Two were 63 and 73, with diabetes and heart disease. 18 deaths were recorded on October 9, out of which only one person was vaccinated, aged 80, suffering from diabetes and heart disease. 14 deaths were recorded on October 10. Three people were vaccinated, one aged 64 with heart disease and a malignant illness, one aged 59 with heart disease, and one aged 68 with heart disease and diabetes. 18 deaths were recorded on October 11. Six were vaccinated: one aged 72 with heart and lung disease, one aged 68 with heart disease, one aged 81 with heart disease and diabetes, two aged 56 and 76 with heart disease and one aged 64 with lung disease. 6 deaths were recorded on October 12, only one of them was vaccinated, aged 80 with no history of chronic illness. 20 deaths were recorded on October 13. Eight were vaccinated: four aged 48, 77, 78 and 80 with heart disease, lung disease and diabetes, one aged 61 with heart disease and hypothyroidism, one aged 72 with heart disease, diabetes and kidney disease, one aged 77 with heart and lung disease and one aged 71 with heart disease. 13 deaths were recorded on October 14. Four were vaccinated: two aged 64 and 74 with heart disease and diabetes, one aged 75 with heart disease and one aged 77 with neuromuscular disease, according to the Ministry of Health. dk/ba/
