Osmani-Konaković: North Macedonia ready to transfer Euro-Atlantic integration experiences to BiH

Skopje, 21 March 2023 (MIA) - North Macedonia is prepared to transfer its experiences to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the Euro-Atlantic integration process, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani told counterprt Elmedin Konaković in a phone call on Tuesday.
FM Osmani congratulated Konaković over his appointment and expressed satisfaction from the high degree of friendly relations and bilateral cooperation, as well as assurance it can be enlarged through specific projects and initiatives, especially in the economic sector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
"The decision to give BiH an EU candidate status is important for the country's reform course and is of exceptional significance for the stability and the general development of the region and its sooner integration in the Union," said Osmani.
Interlocutors also tackled regional cooperation, and North Macedonia's presidency over the U.S.-Adriatic Charter (A5) and OSCE. In this context, they discussed the A5 ministerial that is set to take place on March 27-28 and the visit of the OSCE field mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the course of April, reads the press release.
