Skopje, 4 December 2023 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani extended condolences on Monday to the family and loved ones of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska who was killed after being abducted on November 27, noting that this is a terrible tragedy that affects all citizens. 

"Vanja's untimely death is a terrible tragedy that has affected us all. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones, our thoughts are with you, though we know nothing can fill the emptiness left by your loss," Osmani posted on Facebook. 

He points out that the crime will get the most severe punishment, adding that he is convinced the Prosecutor's Office and the police are using all their capacity to ensure that the case is carefully and precisely cleared up to the smallest detail.

"The public rightly demands full transparency and openness. No matter how tragic or gruesome it is, we must face all the motives and details of this case, not only to remove numerous speculation and manipulation, but also to give ourselves a chance to mature socially, to educate our children, and not forget," FM Osmani said.
