Skopje, 17 September 2021 (MIA) — Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani in City Park had a walking meeting with Japanese Ambassador to North Macedonia Hironori Sawada to discuss possibilities for environmental protection projects with Japan within Japan’s Western Balkans Cooperation Initiative. “This year marks 25 years of the Grant Assistance for Grass Roots and Human Security Projects (GGP) program,” Minister Osmani wrote on Facebook, expressing his gratitude for the projects implemented so far as well as for Japan's support to the country in general. Osmani added that the meeting reaffirmed the excellent relations between the two countries, highlighting the opportunities to further strengthen economic and business cooperation. mr/
