Osmani on ‘Onyshchenko’ case: After government’s internal review, there should be consequences
Skopje, 20 November 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said Sunday that the government has called for an internal review into the ‘Onyshchenko’ case.
Osmani believes there should be consequences for this case.
“Undoubtedly, it is a serious attack that should encourage us all to start thinking about where our weaknesses are and take measures, and we should do that together with international partners,” said Osmani in connection with the approval for Macedonian passport to be awarded to Ukrainian national Oleksandr Onyshchenko, who is blacklisted by the U.S.
Osmani expressed regret for what had happened.
“The government called for an internal review. Once it gives its results, I think there should definitely be consequences,” said Osmani.
